Why dedicated coffee for alternative brewing methods?
We believe that narrow specialization makes us the best at something, and we know it's the same with coffee. Coffee roasted clearly for alternative methods such as drip, kalita or aeropress will always do better than a universal roast (so-called omniroast). That's why we don't roast coffees for universal roasting, we want the coffees to present not only the character of the region they come from, but also to brew easily in the method for which they were created. Mi Loco Guatemala - beand for filter coffee, will find itself well as a bean brewed in drippers and aeropresses. If you are looking for Guatemala for espresso machines, our Guatemala Escogido and specially roasted coffee for this method - Guatemala Mi Loco, will work well in this method, you can find it in our store.
Aroma and flavour
Our coffees do not contain any additives, but thanks to the use of exceptional quality beans, you can smell chocolate cream, amaretto and grapefruit in this coffee.
Character
This is one of the more unusual Arabica, giving an amazing sensory experience reminiscent of punch in the cake. The notes of cocoa, amaretto and grapefruit present in it make you just think of it and feel the taste on your tongue. It is a real feast for the taste buds.
Why buy coffee from a coffee roaster?
We roast coffee every day so that you can enjoy fresh and aromatic coffee in your own home. You won't find such freshness and quality on the shelf in the store.

Discover Antigua region - known for the richest coffees from Guatemala
The Antigua region is characterized by producing the best coffee in the country. Fertile soils, plenty of rain and consistent temperatures in the region make the excellent coffee for which the Antigua region is famous the highest quality.
Throughout Guatemala, and especially in this region, there are ideal conditions for growing coffee. Temperatures range from 16 to 32°C. Thanks to the high altitudes, in Antigua most coffees have the SHG and SHB designation - this means that the coffees grow above 1,500 meters above sea level and, thanks to their slow growth, take up a lot more minerals from the soil, which translates into quality and flavor. Crops located at 1,500 meters above sea level must be protected from cold winds by native trees.
Meet Finca Medina farm
Founded in 1842, Finca Medina is located on the outskirts of Antigua City, at the foot of the Agua volcano. The 74-acre farm is committed to environmentally and socially friendly practices.
The coffees at Finca Medina grow in the shade. The density of shade trees also helps reduce weed growth. The coffee plants are fertilized with composted coffee cherry pulp, and pests are controlled with traps and other environmentally friendly practices. Harvesting takes place from November to April. Coffee cherry fruits are harvested by hand, and Brix analysis is used to determine their ripeness.
Environmentally and community friendly plantation
Finca Medina is involved in a number of community projects aimed at enriching the lives of its employees. One program includes education in safety, health and hygiene, and environmental protection. Finca Medina also offers scholarships for tuition and school supplies for employees and their children. There are also opportunities to sign up for sports activities or housing for many employees.
